Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, targeted British opponent Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly being planned for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Difference
As both boxers engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
